Project 2morrow Software Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the GatePass mobile application (the “Application”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Application and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. SaaS Service Model & Data Collection

GatePass is a Software as a Service (SaaS) based application. We provide this cloud-based platform as a service to organizations and their employees to streamline attendance and security management.

  • Service Delivery: We act as a service provider, hosting and maintaining the application to ensure seamless performance for our users.
  • Consent-Based Collection: We strictly adhere to a permission-based data collection policy. The Application will only collect personal and sensitive data after obtaining explicit permission from the user through system prompts.
2. Information Collection and Use

To provide a seamless attendance and gate pass management experience, we collect several types of information:

Types of Data Collected:
  • Personal Identification Information: While using our Application, we may collect:
    • Full Name, Official Email Address, Employee ID / Code, Profile Picture (Face Data), Department, and Designation.
  • Usage Data: Information on how the Application is accessed and used.
3. Device Permissions and Their Purpose

The Application requires specific permissions to function correctly. We use these permissions only as described below:

  • Camera (CAMERA): Used exclusively for AI-based face recognition to mark attendance and verify user identity.
  • Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION):
    • Purpose: We collect location data to verify that attendance or visit tasks are being performed within authorized geographical boundaries (Geofencing).
    • Foreground Only: Data is collected only while the Application is in the foreground. We do not track location in the background or share it for marketing/advertising purposes.
  • Network & Internet: Used to synchronize attendance records with our secure cloud servers.
4. Data Processing and Security
  • Face Data: Your face data is captured solely for identity verification. It is processed securely and is never shared with third-party advertisers.
  • Data Security: We use industry-standard security measures, including hardware-backed encryption (EncryptedSharedPreferences) to store sensitive tokens on your device.
5. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services (such as Google Play Services and Google Maps API) to facilitate our Application’s features. These third parties are obligated not to disclose or use your data for any other purpose.

6. Data Retention

Project 2morrow Software Limited will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or as required by your employer’s internal policies.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Application is an enterprise tool and does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
